BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – Better tie down your outdoor Christmas decorations. Branch County is included in a Wind Advisory which is in effect from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
National Weather Service forecasters are calling for west winds at 20 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 mph expected.
The advisory covers portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan and northwest Ohio.
Forecasters say the gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Residents are also being asked to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle.
