PARMA, MI (WTVB) – The Class A 7th ranked Western Panthers defeated the visiting Coldwater Lady Cardinals on Tuesday night 60-29 in an Interstate 8 girls basketball game.
Parma Western led 32-11 at the half and were up by 35 heading into the fourth.
Coldwater outscored the Panthers 16-12 in the final quarter.
Elli Foley led Coldwater with 10 points.
Western improves to 8-0 while the Cardinals drop to 4-3 overall and 2-2 in the Interstate 8. Coldwater will host Jackson Northwest on Friday.
Also in Branch County girls basketball on Tuesday, Bronson lost at Buchanan 57-44. After leading 23-22 at the half, the Bucks used a 26-14 third quarter to break the game open. Bronson’s overall record is now 5-4.
Union City also lost a non-conference game at undefeated Colon 52-40. The Chargers are now 2-5.
