CAIRO (Reuters) – Okyanus Group, a U.S. company specialising in environmental safety, and Income International for Petroleum and Industrial Services have offered Egypt a proposal to build an eco-friendly plastic alternatives factory, Egypt’s Cabinet said on Tuesday.
Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said that Egypt welcomes the project, which would be the first of its kind in the country, as part of its drive to reduce the effects of climate change.
Egypt will host the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP27) in November.
