WARREN, MI (WTVB) – Warren De La Salle used a 33-16 second half to rally for a 57-44 victory over the Coldwater Cardinals on Tuesday night.
The loss capped off a day of bad news for the Cardinals as they found out leading scorer Ethan Crabtree is out for the season with a torn ACL.
Crabtree suffered the injury early in Monday night’s win over Portage Northern.
The Cardinals built a 28-24 halftime lead on Tuesday night before the Pilots took control after intermission as Coldwater’s record dropped to 11-2.
Brandon Downs led Coldwater with 19 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Donte Work had 13 points and nine rebounds. Joe Closson added eight points. Lu LeBron had four assists.
