UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings have advanced to their sixth straight M.H.S.A.A. girls basketball district title game.
They will face the Reading Rangers Friday night at 7:00 p.m. for the Division Three District championship in Union City and the right to advance to the regional tournament at Hartford.
The winner of the Bronson-Reading game will play either Watervliet or Buchanan in the regional semifinals on Tuesday night.
The Vikings have won five straight and are 14-7. Reading is 11-10.
Friday’s district title game will be the third meeting of the season between the Vikings and Rangers.
Bronson won 54-31 on January 18 and then edged the Rangers 56-55 on February 19.
