Kennith William Clark, 63, of Union City, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022 in Union City.
He has been cremated and a graveside service with military honors will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery in Augusta on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
Kennith was born December 7, 1958 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Thomas and Joan (Griffith) Clark. He grew up in Union City, attended Union City High School and graduated from Cedar Lake Academy in 1978. Kennith served in the U.S. Marine Corps 1978-1981, where he was a lance corporal. He was later employed as a furnace tender with Alchem Aluminum in Coldwater.
Outside of work, Kennith enjoyed reading – especially Louis L’Amour novels, genealogy, dining out and being social, and going to the UP and deer camp near Munising. He enjoyed giving small gifts to the people who were special to him. He loved all animals and pets, but cats remained his favorite. He called all his dogs “Duke.”
Kennith was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Burlington.
Kennith is survived by his siblings, Victor (Brenda) Clark of Tekonsha, Roxanne (Richard) Herman of Coldwater and Dianne Clark of Union City; his nieces and nephews, Lindsey, Lauren, Lance (Kelci) and Layne Clark, Elise (Spencer) Maddox, Logan Herman, and Daniel (Marissa) Motz; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Ford Clark, Ayva and Maverik Maddox, and Gavin and Sawyer Motz.
He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Mitchell Clark.
