Theodore L. McLatcher, 84, of Coldwater, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving family.
A public graveside services for Theodore L. McLatcher will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater.
He was born on March 11, 1938 in Madison, MI to John W. and Bernice (Inde) McLatcher. Theodore married Reah (Mowrey) and she survives.
Ted had served in the National Guard for 3 years as a young man. Ted worked at M.T. Shaw Shoe for 30 years, also Mobil Home Sales for 10 years and Steel Construction Company for 10 years.
Ted loved his yardwork, fishing, hunting and playing cards with family and friends.
In addition to his wife, Reah, Theodore is survived by one daughter, Brenda (Joe) Parker of Coldwater; one son, Rocky McLatcher of Coldwater; three step-daughters, Linda (John)Tracy of Albion, Sandra (Kevin)Newberry of Coldwater, Debra (David) McDonald of Bronson; three sisters, Mary Roach, Teressa Noble, Dorothy Heather; one brother, Martin McLatcher; grandchildren, Jessica Whitney, Kimberly Thompson (Tito Morales), Eric Newberry, Doug (Brittany) Austin, James (Rachalle) Austin, Robert (Melissa) Austin, Mandy (Branden) Nelson, Justin (Nary) Parker, Andrew McLatcher, Amy (Matt) Demarest, Brad (Nichole) McLatcher, Jeremy (Michele) Chandler, Jennifer Chandler, Shera (David) Bracket and great-grandchildren, Emily and Joshua Whitney, Cameron (Maddie) Thompson, Cayrin Thompson, Everette, Amelia, Hudson, Braylinn, Colten, Charleigh, Jordy, Emma Austin, Jaylynn, Branden, Bryce, Cayson Chandler, Zech, Jaylee Brackett, Kai, Bentley McLatcher, Cooper and Parker Nelson and Mia Sims.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Melody Chandler; sisters, JoAnn Gales, Josephine Copenhafer, Mildred Bradley; brothers, Richard, Johnny and Edward McLatcher.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Promedica Coldwater Hospice.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy.
