ST. PETERSBURG, FL (WKZO AM/FM) – Harold Castro’s two out homer in the top of the ninth inning gave the Detroit Tigers a 3-2 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays Monday night in St. Petersburg.
Jonathan Schoop hit a two run homer while Michael Fulmer was credited with the win. Gregory Soto earned the save.
The Tigers have won four straight and are now 13-and-23. They take on the Rays again tonight.
