Nancy A. Thompson, 87, of Coldwater, went to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at Masonville Place in Coldwater.
A private burial will take place at Knauss Cemetery in Kinderhook Township, with a celebration of her life at a later date.
Arrangements are being cared for by Dutcher Funeral Home.
Nancy was born June 7, 1935 in Coldwater MI, to Lyle and Rachel (Sellers) Keith. She married Edwin D. Thompson, the love of her life in 1952. He preceded her death in 1987.
Mrs. Thompson worked at the Coldwater Regional Center for many years. She loved tractor shows, antiquing and flea markets, always in search of antique tools to add to her collection and to be by Edwin’s side. Nancy had an appreciation for nature. She enjoyed flowers and feeding the birds. To say her cooking/baking was amazing is an understatement. Her five boys were her biggest accomplishment; she was a loving, devoted mother.
Nancy is survived by her children Randy (Cindy) Thompson of Burlington, Mark (Wendy) Thompson of Coldwater, daughter-in law Kelly Thompson of Angola, IN; her siblings Russell (Judy) Keith of Illinois, Sharon Robinson of Muncie, IN, Janice Rider of Florida, Sandra (John) Bolton of Coldwater and many grand and great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons Lyle, Keith and Brian Thompson, her daughter- in- law Sherry Thompson and her sister Patty Keith.
Memorials may be directed to Stokes Chapel Church.
