OTSEGO, MI (WTVB) – After dropping their last two contests, the Coldwater High School boys varsity soccer team bounced back Tuesday night with a 6-2 non-conference win at Otsego.
Arif Ahmed had three goals and three assists, with his first goal coming less than six minutes into the game.
Ghaith Musa scored twice and assisted on another goal, while Nabil Saied had one goal and one assist, and Ezadeen Ahmed had one assist.
Trevor Hensinger had three saves in goal, as the Cardinals outshot Otsego 14-8.
With the win, Coldwater is now 2-3-2 on the season, and is off until playing at Vicksburg next Tuesday.
The Coldwater junior varsity team shutout Otsego 3-0, with goals from Austin Accardi, Liam Clark, and Essam Ahmed.
