DETROIT, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Tigers offensive woes continue, as Detroit fell 7-0 to the Seattle Mariners Thursday afternoon.
Detroit had just four hits as the Mariners completed the three game sweep. Logan Gilbert earned his 11th win after throwing six scoreless frames and striking out nine.
Rookie Julio Rodriguez and Ty France went back-to-back with solo home runs in the third inning for Seattle.
The Tigers fall to 50-and-81. Detroit will host the Kansas City Royals for a three games beginning tonight, with the opening pitch scheduled for 7:10 p.m.
