BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings and the Union City Chargers recorded Big 8 Conference girls volleyball wins on Tuesday night.
The Vikings won at Homer three games to nothing by game scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-23.
Coach Jean LaClair said, “We lost a bit of our focus in the 3rd set, but overall continue to move in the right direction…..I did think Homer played very well! I thought Haylie Wilson did a great job of running the back row tonight”.

Union City had to rally to defeat Concord three games to two by game scores of 23-25, 22-25, 25-20, 27-25, 15-5.
Union City Coach Ashley Herman said, “We had a night of very strong offensive play as well as a solid night on defense. Concord served very tough tonight as well as put together a strong offense. After losing the first two sets, we were forced to regroup, change some things up and work as an entire team to stay focused and strong to fight and win the next three. This team continues to amaze me on their ability to never give up and continue to fight to the very last point. They put together three very strong sets in a row to win the match!”
