COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Legg Middle School girls volleyball teams closed out their seasons Thursday night with matches against Marshall.
The 8th grade B team lost to Marshall 24-26, 14-25, 15-11. Leading the team with 17 digs was Khole Tyler she also was six for six serving. Jaylynn Martin and Khole Tawdul were both ten for ten serving. Khole Wohlgamuth got five aces. The team ended the year with a record of 4-6.
The 7th grade A team lost a tough three game match to Marshall by scores of 23-25, 25-21, 13-15 and finished the year with a 12-4-1 record.
Legg was led at the service line by Maddie McCullough 10-10 with 1 ace followed by Audi Bucklin 10-11 with 3 aces, Alyise Dally 13-14 with 6 aces, Adyson Qualls 12-14 with 3 aces, Alana Houtz 5-5 1 ace and Kelsey Price 4-5 1 ace.
Bucklin paced Coldwater in the back court with 7 digs followed by Qualls and Caydee Marske with 5 digs, Qualls, Price, Dally and Elizabeth Vogler4 digs each, Harper Morrill, Alexa Carreon and Lily Scheidler 2 digs each. Qualls had 7 kills followed by Bucklin with 5 kills then Dally with 3 kills.
The 7th grade B team lost to Marshall 25-9, 22-25, 4-15. Legg was led in scoring by Amberlynn Gaglio 9/9, 4 aces, Claire Stroup 8/9, 4 aces, Katherine Smith 6/7, 4 aces, 1 dig, Gemma McVicker 6/6, 1 ace, 2 digs, Grace Tuttle 5/5, 1 ace, 4 digs, and Abigail Paul 5/5, 1 ace.
