BROOKLYN, MI (WTVB) – The high school cross country season wraps up on Saturday with the M.H.S.A.A. State Finals at Michigan International Speedway.
11 Branch County area runners qualified for next Saturday’s M.H.S.A.A. Cross Country Finals at Michigan International Speedway.
Coldwater’s Haroon Omar and Lainey Yearling both qualified for the Division Two Finals. The boys race will start at 1:30 p.m. with the girls race scheduled to start at 2:50 p.m..
Six runners from Branch County will be in the Division Three state finals. They are Ava Hathaway, Ashlynn Harris and Ashton Wells of Bronson along with Ben Gautsche and Skyler Fraley of Union City and Rhett Reif of Quincy.
The Division Three boys race will start at 10:10 a.m. with the girls race at 11:30 a.m..
Dani VanLente, Carrisa Shedd and Bo VanKeet of Tekonsha will be in the Division Four state finals. The boys race will start at 9:30 a.m. with the girls race at 10:50 a.m..
