DeEtta Jeanne Neveraski, 84, of Coldwater passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 20, 2022 in Marshall, MI.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman officiating.
The family will receive guests for visitation, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a rosary to be held at 7:00 p.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home in Coldwater. Interment of ashes will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in Coldwater at a later date.
She was born July 26, 1938 to LaVere and Anna Jane (Ullom) Waldron in Coldwater, MI. DeEtta was a talented seamstress that worked with many companies like JB Branch, Monique Fabrics, Grimes Fabrics, the Sewing Basket, Taylors, and even operated her own company Alterations by DeEtta.
She was a lifelong resident of Branch County and a dedicated member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She held a passion for the arts as she enjoyed drawing, painting, wood working, and most of all sewing. DeEtta was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend that will be dearly missed.
DeEtta leaves behind her children Damian Neveraski of Coldwater, Steven (Tina) Neveraski of Utah, Pamela (Floyd) Prater of Marshall, Katrina Karsaba of Saginaw, MI; her sister Barbara Bricker of Coldwater; her 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Brian Neveraski, sister LaVetta Kaschalk, and her foster sister Lora Lee Oren.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to St. Mary’s Catholic School in Bronson or to masses.
