LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is expected to give her State of the State address in Lansing Wednesday, January 25.
The Governor will speak before the joint session of the Michigan House and Senate which are both controlled by Democrats following the 2022 election.
In a statement, Whitmer says the speech is a chance to talk about issues that make a real difference in people’s lives and what she wants done in the upcoming year.
This will be Whitmer’s fifth State of the State address since being elected.
