BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings maintained a one game lead for first place in the Big 8 Conference as they defeated Concord 74-35 on Thursday night.
The Vikings bounced back from their first loss of the season to Buchanan as they improved to 12-1 overall and 8-0 in the Big 8 Conference.
Bronson’s Haylie Wilson scored a game-high 31 points while Aubree Calloway had 23 points and six rebounds. Helena Eley also grabbed six rebounds.
Springport scored the first 20 points of the game as they defeated Union City 75-17 on Thursday night.
Jordan Chard led the Chargers with nine points. The Chargers are now 0-8 in the Big 8 and 2-12 overall.
The weather conditions forced postponements of Quincy’s game at Reading as well as Tekonsha’s game at Burr Oak.
