HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – Hillsdale College has announced a couple of changes in their athletic department.
Long time Men’s Head Basketball Coach John Tharp has been named as the new director of athletics.
Tharp replaces Don Brubacher, who has been director of athletics since 2008.
Tharp served as the head coach of the men’s basketball team at Hillsdale College for 16 years. He led the team to three conference titles and five NCAA Division II Tournament appearances, including two Sweet 16 appearances and one Elite Eight appearance. He was twice named G-MAC Coach of the Year.
Tharp finishes his head coaching career with 501 victories.
With his promotion to the A.D. position, the Hillsdale College athletic department has announced the appointment of Keven Bradley as the new head men’s basketball coach.

Bradley is the 28th head coach in Hillsdale’s history. He has served as the Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach for the past three seasons.
