BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles battled to a 3-3 tie with Springport on Monday night in Big 8 Conference girls soccer match.
Springport jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first 20 minutes.
Kaitlyn Galinis scored for the Orioles right before half which cut Springport’s lead to 2-1.
Kallie Glei was able to equalize the match at 2-2 as she found the back of the net with an assist from Abigail Harmon at the start of the second half.
After Springport went back ahead with 15 minutes left in the game, Glei was able to score with just three minutes left as the match ended to a 3-3 draw.
Quincy is now 8-1-1. They will play at Hanover-Horton on Wednesday night.
Also in girls soccer on Monday night, Bronson lost at home to Grass Lake 5-0.
