COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Orioles boys golf team hosted their first Quincy Oriole Invitational on Wednesday at the Coldwater Golf Course.
The squad was split into two teams, Orange and Black. The Orange team won the Invite by four strokes over Union City.
The Quincy Orange squad had a 373 score while Union City had a second place score of 377.
Quincy’s Sam Sawyer was the medalist as he shot a 86. Dave Milliman was third overall with an 88 while Braylon Estlow added a 98 and Gavin Hagerman and Chase Walters shot 101 each.
Quincy’s Black team finished fourth in the tourney. They were led by Grant Carter with a 93. Caleb Bostic shot a 99.
Union City’s Carter Krummrey was second in the individual standings with a round of 87. Landyn Crance and Grady Iobe both had rounds of 96 for the Chargers while Logan Mears carded a 98.
