COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Purple Week at Coldwater High School continued Wednesday night as the Cardinal volleyball team defeated Hastings 25-21, 25-19, 25-20 at the Coach Floyd Eby Gymnasium.

- Elli Foley: 6 kills, 34 assists
- Mya Porter: 5 kills, 2 blocks, 3 aces, 17 digs

Coldwater improved to 12-9-2 overall, 1-1 in the Interstate 8, and will compete at the Eaton Rapids Invitational on Saturday.

The Saxons defeated the Cardinals in the freshman match 25-22, 25-12. Khloe Tyler and Julianna Cowles led the Cardinals with 2 kills apiece, followed by Khloe Tawdel and Myiah Moore with 1. Isabella Angevine and Julianna Cowles led the team with 2 aces apiece. Khloe Tawdel, Miyah Moore, and Khloe Tyler all had one ace.
