COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Main Street announced on Monday they have launched a reimbursement-based Façade Restoration Initiative grant program for renovations of facades in downtown Coldwater.
The program is funded by a $75,000 grant from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and $37,500 of matching funds from Coldwater Main Street.
According to a press release from Coldwater Main Street, a total of $112,500 will be deployed towards a small number of projects.
Grant awards are competitive and cannot exceed 75 percent of project costs. Applications are due February 9, 2024.
Building and business owners located in the Main Street Area, and whose buildings are contributing structures to the downtown historic district, are eligible to apply.
