St. Paul’s Lutheran Church collecting shoes throughout January

COLON, MI (WTVB) – St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Colon will be accepting footwear in any condition during the month of January.

Bins will be placed outside the church social hall at 484 South Burr Oak Road where shoes can be left for use by Changing Footprints of Northern Indiana.

Shoes in any condition may be left in the bins. Pairs should be tied together. Multiple shoes may be placed in 13-gallon plastic sacks for easier handling. Shoeboxes should not be included.

Changing Footprints collect footwear and then give it to those in need. Over 28,000 pairs have been distributed by Changing Footprints-Northern Indiana in the last year.
