BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings girls softball team improved to 6-0 in the Big 8 Conference by sweeping a doubleheader from Maple Valley, winning both games by scores of 17-0.
Winning pitchers Ashlynn Harris and Mya Webb both threw three inning perfect games.
Harris was the winning pitcher in the opener thanks to eight strike outs. She also had a single and a triple. Brealyn Lasky had a single and a double. The Vikings collected 16 walks.
Webb struck out six in the second game. Harris, Ciara Blankenship and Kailynne Scare all had two hits. Blankenship drove in two runs as Viking batters were issued 15 walks.
Bronson is now 7-4 overall.
