COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Bud Norman reported to County Commissioners during their work session last Thursday that everything is ready for painting to be done in four county buildings and new carpeting to be put down in the Courthouse and Annex building.
The work is expected to be done this summer.
Painting will be done in the Courthouse, Annex, Health Department and Department of Health and Human Services.
The courtrooms in the courthouse will also be renovated.
Commissioners on Tuesday approved a bid from Abonmarche Byce of Kalamazoo for the design and prints of the courtroom renovation. They were one of two companies who submitted bids.
The Branch County Board of Commissioners decided late last year to spend $3 million of the county’s ARPA funds for the upgrades and maintenance of county buildings.
Carpet will be an issue.
