BELLAIRE, MI (WTVB) – Retiring Branch County Sheriff John Pollack was awarded the Michigan Sheriff’s Association Presidential Award on Sunday evening during the association’s conference in Bellaire.
M.S.A. President and Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller presented the award.
Pollack urged Association members to get involved.
Pollack was nominated for the award by his Administrative staff.
Pollack begin his law enforcement career with the Bronson Police Department. He then went on to serve the Sturgis Police Department and the Branch County Sheriff’s Office.
He was a Patrol Sergeant and Undersheriff before being elected as Sheriff in 2012. Pollack will be retiring on December 31, 2024.
