HILLSDALE COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A Litchfield man was booked on numerous charges into the Hillsdale County Jail on Monday after he was apprehended May 14 in downtown Fremont, Indiana while he was allegedly in possession of a pipe bomb on his motorcycle.
32-year-old Arvil Bryant, Junior of Litchfield was being held without bond on charges which include being in possession of bombs with unlawful intent, two counts of being a prohibited person in possession of firearms, aggravated stalking, malicious use of telecommunications services, possession of methamphetamine and felony firearm. He was also booked on two warrants for failure to appear.
Bryant was the subject of a multi state investigation that involved local, state and federal authorities.
The Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office along with the Michigan State Police, the Indiana State Police, the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office and Fremont Police were all involved in the arrest.
Bryant was brought back to Hillsdale County after waiving extradition from Indiana.
