UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – The Union City Police Department says they had a hand in bringing a wanted felon who fled to Mexico back to Branch County.
A Union City Police Department squad car met a U.S Marshal prisoner transport plane on the runway in Detroit on Tuesday.
The coordinated effort involved Union City Police, the State Attorney General’s Office, U.S. Marshals and the Branch County Prosecutor’s Office.
The name of the suspect along with other details are not available but the Prosecutor’s Office is expected to release more information at a later time.
Why even report on this? This type of story only leads to distrust of authorities when the information is so vague.
Should we be sending our illegals from Mexico or that came here vis Mexico back in exchange?
Why did we go to the trouble and expense of bringing him back ??? Let him stay in Mexico – we don’t need him here !!!! The Mexican authorities can deal with him, and he can be arrested in the US if he tries to cross the border again…
