BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The early part of this summer has been mild and at times somewhat cool but that is about to change.
A heat wave is expected to dominate our weather next week. National Weather Service forecasters say hot and humid conditions are expected with heat indices around 100 degrees.

Stay hydrated and limit exposure to the outside during the peak heating hours.
According to the web site www.extremeweatherwatch.com, the record high temperatures for Coldwater next week are 96 for Sunday, 95 on Monday and Tuesday, 97 on Wednesday and 99 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
