Annual ceremony for Healing Hill of Hope set for June 27

COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Early Bird Exchange Club Healing Hill of Hope will once again this year honor Branch County children who have been abused or neglected.

The annual flag placement ceremony will take place on Thursday, June 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Naomi Davis Shelterhouse at 220 North Michigan Avenue in Coldwater.

Diane Harmon is the President of the Early Bird Exchange Club. She told the Coldwater City Council this past Monday night that 173 flags will fly in formation throughout the month of July.

The event along with a 5K run on Independence Day will support local child abuse prevention programs.
