COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The 94th edition of the Branch County Fair officially opens on Sunday for its week long run at the Branch County Fairgrounds.
The theme for this year’s fair is “May the 4th be with you in 24”.
Pre Fair activities will take place Friday and Saturday as youngsters enter their exhibits.
The Fair parade will start at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. The Branch Buds Animal Showing will take place after the parade at 6:00 p.m. in the Show Shelter.
The fair officially opens at 12:00 noon on Sunday but there will be limited food and no rides.
Sunday’s schedule includes the Poultry Show at 9:00 a.m., Antique Tractor Pulls in the Amphitheater at 11:00 a.m., the Rabbit and Cavy Show at 2:00 p.m. and Barnyard Children Judging at 5:00 p.m..
The 38th annual Branch County Fair Gospel Concert featuring the house band from The Gospel Barn and Joe Renshaw will take place at 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon in the Cabin Pavilion.
The crowning of the Fair King and Queen will be on the Free Stage at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday night.
The Elliot’s Amusement rides will open at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
