William “Billy” Waite, 58, of Quincy passed away unexpectedly Saturday, August 3, 2024 at ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Ohio.
In keeping with Billy’s wishes, he will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Billy was born December 20, 1965, to Vernon and Geraldine (Fowler) Waite in Sturgis, Michigan. Billy attended Coldwater High School with the Class of 1984.
March 25, 2017, he married Deana Raymond in Coldwater, Michigan. He lived around the Coldwater area for most of his life.
Billy has spent the last five years transporting the Amish to their worksites around the local area. Before that, he worked as a supervisor for Sintered Metals in Coldwater. He loved watching NASCAR, with Dale Earnhardt being his favorite driver.
Billy was a tinkerer. He enjoyed fixing up cars and motorcycles. His favorite times were spent with the people he loved. He will be missed by many.
Billy is survived by his loving wife, Deana Raymond; his children, Chris (Nikki) Miller, Kristina Lincoln, Pam Perry, Andrew (Erica) Miller, Chirs Richardson, Matthew (Jordan) Waite, Hannah Waite, and Brandon Perry; his stepchildren, Jody (Lamont) Grey, Timmy Bryan, Brian Vetal, Stacey Joblinski, Denise Joblinski, Dakota Joblinski, and Casandra Joblinski; his siblings, Lois (David) Vaughn, Kenneth Waite, Sean Waite, and his stepsister, Tonya (Marc) Eicher; 35 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his parents, his brother, Jack Fowler, and his sisters, Rebecca Gay, and Crystal Waite.
