STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson and Quincy cross country teams competed on Saturday at the 60th annual Kiwanis Invitational in Sturgis.
In the overall final standings in the girls meet, Bronson finished third while Quincy was sixth.
Both Bronson and Quincy each had three runners who earned medals by finishing in the top 25.
Bronson was paced by Ava Hathaway who finished third with a time of 19:32.85. Her teammate Ashlynn Harris was sixth with a time of 20:26.77. Alonna Goodsell was 16th.
Quincy’s top finisher was Kendyl Musielewicz as she was 11th with a time of 21:16.25. Lainey Yearling was 13th with a time of 21:20.70. Charlotte Crabbs was 23rd.
The boys meet overall standings showed Quincy was ninth and Bronson was tenth. In the Division Three/Division Four standings, Bronson finished second while Quincy was third.
Adam Franks was the top finisher for Bronson as he was 28th. Quincy’s Carter Felter was 29th while Chayse Jensen was 34th.
