McConn honored for 50 years of service to the Bronson Fire Department

BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – A long time member of the Bronson Fire Department was honored during Monday’s Bronson City Council meeting.

Assistant Fire Chief Larry McConn was honored for his 50 years of service.

Fire Chief Scott Wilber presented McConn with a firefighters ax in honor of the occasion.

McConn said the Bronson Fire Department works as a team.

McConn was just re-elected to another four year term on the Bronson City Council.

He was also the Mayor of Bronson from 2019 until 2022.
