THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy High School bowling teams swept Constantine on Wednesday at South Lanes in Three Rivers.
Quincy’s varsity boys team rolled baker games of 149 and 174 to best Constantine’s 108 and 158, taking all 10 baker points.
Leading the way for the Orioles in game one of singles was Brody Carroll shooting a 199, Carroll also took game two with a 162.
Conner Stetler went 167 and 150, Ethan Janssen 158, Drew Carlisle 171 and 167, and Tyler White with a 227 as they all scored for the Orioles in singles action.
Quincy outshot the Falcons 1,692-1,422 for a 28-2 victory.
It was all Quincy in the varsity girls match as the Orioles went 104 and 120 to best the hosts 92 and 87 in the baker games.
With a quick 10 point lead the Orioles never looked back with three Orioles scoring in game one. Elizabeth Craig rolled a 132 while Danica Swift had a 116, and Ally Janssen fired a 158.
In game two Clare Robertson captured half a point with a tie game of 106. Janssen shot a 157 and Breanna Brown went unmatched with an 88 for Quincy.
Quincy went on to shoot 1,153-939 for a 25 1/2 to 4 1/2 win.
The Orioles will host their Jr Pro Clinic this Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at Midway Lanes and be back in action at home Monday against Niles Brandywine.
