BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings completed a regular sweep of the Union City Chargers on Thursday night as they defeated the Chargers 55-29 in a Big 8 Conference game on the Vikings home court.
Game details were unavailable. The Vikings are now 4-1 in the Big 8 and 7-2 overall. Union City dropped to 0-5 in the Big 8 and 4-8 overall.
Quincy’s home game with Stockbridge was postponed until Friday night. It will be part of Orioles Night four games between Quincy and Stockbridge. The girls J.V. game will be played at 4:00 p.m. with the girls varsity game at 5:30 p.m.. The boys J.V. game will be played at 5:30 p.m. with the boys varsity game at 7:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, the Coldwater girls basketball game at East Lansing will not be played on Saturday. It has been rescheduled for a second time to Monday, February 3. The J.V. game will be at 4:30 p.m. with the varsity game at 6:00 p.m..
The Coldwater JV boys basketball team lost to Hastings 70-40 Thursday night. Travon Mitchell and Evan Lewis led the scoring for the Cardinals with 8 points each.
