COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy boys bowling team had to rally on Monday as they defeated Kalamazoo Hackett 21-9 at Midway Lanes.
Quincy trailed 6-4 entering singles. Brody Carroll [137], Tyler White [148], Ethan Janssen [146], and Drew Carlisle [171] all scored for the Orioles. Conner Stetler chipped in 145 as Quincy won game one 747-621.
Game two was a back and forth battle as Quincy fought to capture overall totals to secure their win. It came down to the 10th frame with just 32 pins separating overall totals.
Quincy found Stetler [134], Janssen [161] and Carlisle [203] in the win column.
White added 134 and Ally Janssen a 156.
Quincy won game two 808-776 and overall totals 1,555-1,397.
With the win, Quincy remains out in front in a tight race for the conference title.
