Willard J. McCall, 75, of Quincy passed away suddenly Sunday, February 16, 2025.
Funeral services will be held Friday, February 21, 2025,at 11:30 a.m. at Word of Life Outreach Center in Quincy, with Pastor Bob Montgomery officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
He was born September 27, 1949 in Grayling, MI to John and Marguerite “Peggy” (Cram) McCall. He married Patty Ames in 1978, who preceded him in death. He then married Linda Brown December 16, 1995 and she survives.
Will graduated from Coldwater High School and went on to serve his country in the US Army during the Vietnam era. He earned his associate’s degree from Kellogg Community College and retired after 43 years of service from H.C. Starck Specialty Metals in Coldwater, where he was a quality control specialist.
Will had a passion for traveling, usually seeking warm weather and a beach to relax on. He was a sports enthusiast who enjoyed rooting for the University of Michigan football team, playing golf, and watching his children and later grandchildren play sports. Most of all, Will loved spending time with his wife and his best friend, Linda.
He was the ultimate family man and will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He will also be remembered for his love for God and his church family. His optimistic outlook on life and ability to bring happiness and joy to every moment will be cherished.
Surviving besides his wife, Linda, are five children: Timothy (Tricia) Rzepka, Tammy (Tom) Swoish, and Nathan (Amber) McCall, all of Coldwater; Victoria (Mike) Odisher-Reynolds of Battle Creek; and Charity (Aaron) Gaboury of Eau Claire, WI. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, his sister, Patricia Livingston of Ionia, and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Patty, and his brother, Donald McCall.
