Travis was born September 7, 1991 to Paul E. and Donna J. (Sikorski) Meyer, in Coldwater. He was a graduate from Western Michigan University. He spent many years doing what he loved as an Aviation Mechanic for Duncan International and Western Michigan University.
Travis was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed everything from kayaking, hunting, bonfires, golfing and all sports.
Sundays were sacred, not just for rest, but for watching the Lions and loudly offering commentary that shouldn’t be televised. He was a jack of all trades; whether it was airplanes or woodworking, he could fix just about anything.
Travis was always there when others needed him. Nothing meant more to him than being able to spend time with his family and friends. He was a devoted dog dad to Roary, his constant companion and source of joy.
Travis is survived by his parents Paul and Donna Meyer; his siblings Jenifer VanMeter; Rob (Stephanie) Case; Vanessa (Glenn) Fox; his nieces and nephews Joey VanMeter; Noah Starkey; Evie Case; Tommy Case; Violet Fox; his grandpa Eugene (Virginia) Sikorski; many other loving family members; his cat Binx and his beloved dog Roary Kathleen.
Travis is preceded in death by his three grandparents.
The family wishes that trees be sent in lieu of flowers as the family would rather grow a lasting memorial to Travis.
Memorials may be directed to his niece Joey’s medical fund. Checks may be made payable to Donna Meyer.
