Mary Ann Pierson, 88, of Quincy passed away Friday, April 18, 2025 at her home.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Coldwater with Rev. Fr. Dan Hyman as celebrant. Burial will follow at California Corners Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for visitation Tuesday, April 22 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Quincy with a Rosary service to be held at 6:30 p.m..
She was born August 14, 1936 in Hidden Timbers, South Dakoka to Phillip and Anne (Hattig) Rohloff. She married Paul Pierson June 18, 1955, and he preceded her in death October 13, 2018.
Mary graduated from Bronson High School and was a long-time school bus driver for Central Lake and Reading Schools. She loved the quiet living in the country, along with being outdoors tending to her flower gardens. She also enjoyed fishing and playing cards with friends and family.
Mary was a kind person who will be remembered for her generosity and willingness to help anyone in need.
Survivors include four children, Christopher (Julie) Pierson, Annette Pierson, Renee Aguirre and Melissa Hernandaz; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Michelle Rohloff; and brother; John (Joan) Rohloff.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul; twin children in infancy; sister, Theresa Rittenhouse; and brothers, Ed and Frankie Rohloff.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
