COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Branch County Fairgrounds will come alive with this weekend the gleam of polished chrome and the revving of classic engines, for the annual Branch County Car Show and Swap Meet. This long running event, a highlight of Mother’s Day weekend, promises a vibrant celebration of automotive culture, drawing car enthusiasts, families, and curious visitors to Coldwater.
After uncertainty when previous organizers canceled the decades-long tradition, the Branch County Fair Directors and Staff stepped in to ensure the show would go on. The event has been rebranded as the Branch County Car Show and Swap Meet, shifting to a Friday-Saturday schedule for 2025. This change marks a departure from the traditional Saturday-Sunday format.
The car show will feature an impressive lineup of classic, custom, and collector vehicles, showcasing everything from vintage muscle cars to meticulously restored antiques. Attendees can stroll through rows of classic automobiles, each with its own story, while swapping tales with passionate owners. The swap meet, a treasure trove for gearheads, will offer rare parts, memorabilia, and automotive accessories, perfect for hobbyists looking to complete their projects.
There will also be raffles and food trucks on site.
A look ahead to the weekend forecast calls for mostly sunny sky’s both Friday and Saturday with highs in the mid 70’s.
