COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- The Coldwater Board of Public Utilities has announced that on May 21, it will launch new electronic billing and payment service through Invoice Cloud, offering customers greater flexibility to view and pay their utility bills.
The new service also enables customers to make a payment by phone 24/7 through an automated payment line or take advantage of the Pay by Text option to receive text message notifications and conveniently pay with a text message using their default payment method.
The easy-to-use payment portal will provide customers with quick access to their account to view bills, check their balance and make payments with credit/debit card or electronic check, which is a new option. Features include an “at a glance” dashboard, scheduling one-time or automatic payments, securely storing payment information, and receiving email and text (optional) reminders. Paperless billing will continue to be available. Creating an account is recommended to access all the features; however, it is not required to view and pay bills online.
Invoice Cloud offers more payment options. Customers will now be able to pay their bills with Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Venmo, Paypal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and bank payments made directly to CBPU.
Customers currently on autopay and paperless billing will automatically have their payment information transferred to the new system. You can learn more about the new system my visiting www.Coldwater.org.
