COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- At a Special Branch Intermediate School District Board of Education meeting held on Wednesday, three candidates were selected to interview for the position of Superintendent.
Interviews will be held on May 13 and 14 at the Waldron Center Cafeteria beginning at 6:00 p.m. and the public is invited to attend.
It is anticipated that at the conclusion of the interviews on May 14; the Board will identify one or more candidates to bring back for a second-round interview.
The final three candidates interview schedule will be :
TUESDAY, MAY 13
6:00 p.m. Howard Edwards – Director of School Learning, South Bend Community School Corporation (IN)
7:15 p.m. Steve Head – Superintendent (retired), Onsted Community Schools
WEDNESDAY, MAY 14
6:00 p.m. Darrin Adair- Assistant Superintendent of Special Education, Branch Intermediate School District,
Kris Jenkins the current superintendent, is retiring on June 30th . The board hopes to have it’s next superintendent in place by July 1st.
