COLDWATER, MI (WTVB)- Although today doesn’t feel much like summer, crews are working to give the downtown Coldwater area a more festive feel when the warmer weather ushers in a flurry of activity along South Monroe Street and the Tibbits plaza.
Work began early Tuesday morning to install a new sound system that city officials says will bring added life to the many summer activities and festivals that bring people downtown, such as Strawberry Fest and Hops on Monroe, as well as countless other activities.
Monroe Street is closed to through traffic today and will reopen Wednesday with restricted parking.
