COLDWATER MI, (WTVB)- While the investigation continues into what caused the Tuesday night fire that destroyed A Grand Occasion on Union City Road, the owners released a statement on Facebook Wednesday afternoon confirming their commitment to customers. Katy and
Jake Lenhardt posted the following, saying:
“We are reaching out to inform you that a fire occurred at our location on 5/20/25, resulting in significant damage. We have been in touch with numerous clients via email and are dedicated to maintaining our commitment to providing exceptional service, including all scheduled parties this summer. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we prioritize this weekend’s events.
Please allow us flexibility as we address this situation day by day”.
Fire investigators say they have not yet determined what caused the blaze that did an estimated $1.5 million in damage.
