Sherry L. Cook, 63, of Union City passed away under hospice care Monday, July 7, 2025 surrounded by her family at her home.
A celebration of Sherry’s life will take place at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025 at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation 1276 Tate Trail, Union City, MI, with Pastor Dan Maurer of the Union City Wesleyan Church officiating. Cremation will follow and private interment will be at Sherwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m until the time of the service Monda, also at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Sherry was born October 27, 1961 to Marlin and Lola (Watson) Musselman in Sturgis, Michigan. She graduated from Union City High School with the Class of 1979.
September 28, 1979 she married Robert Cook in Sherwood.
Sherry enjoyed crafts, shopping, and garage sales but most of all her family was her everything.
Surviving are her husband Robert Cook of Union City; her daughter, Danielle (Cook) Sechler of Coldwater; her sons, Josh Cook of Coldwater, Ben Cook of Detroit; her grandchildren, Dilan Sechler, Zachary Covey, Legend Covey, Aiden Covey, Aryanna Durbin, James Durbin, Kayden Cook, Carter Cook, Caison Cook; and great-grandson Grayson Sechler.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughters, Melissa Durbin and Jessica Covey; and her siblings, Terry, Jerry Paul Musselman and Sharon Wallace.
