Beatrice M. Richardson, 101, of Coldwater passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Facility.
A service will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
A visitation will be held prior to the service at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Interment will take place following the service at Evergreen Cemetery.
Beatrice was born September 7, 1923 in Jamestown, MI to Floyd and Frances (De Vries) Schulmeyer. She married Billy D. Richardson on September 12, 1942 in Bryon, OH. He preceded her in death on January 11, 1989. Beatrice married Vernon E. Holbrook May 15 1995 and he preceded her in death on November 21, 2008.
Beatrice worked at Quality Springs for many years. She also worked at Evan’s Products and retired in the early 1980’s. After her retirement she babysat for many years for her family and close friends.
She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, mushroom hunting, and spending time with her family.
Beatrice is survived by her daughters Linda Wood of Coldwater, Jannene (Donnie) Simons of Quincy; her sister Shirley Racolta of Union City; her grandchildren Butch (Darlyn) Holbrook, Darlene Grove, Brenda Sue (Marty) Miller, Kelley (Joe McCowan) Wood, Leigh (Matt) Barrows; her 11 great, and 10 great great grandchildren; and special friends Robyn and Jimmy Birchfield, Irving English, and Sue and Bill Wardwell.
In addition to her husbands, Beatrice was preceded in death by her daughter Nancy Holbrook, her sister Dorothy Wagar, Louise Brandt, Ruth Musselman, and Arlene Tucker.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association and Erin’s Angels.
