Elizabeth M. Little, 95, of Coldwater passed away Monday, September 1, 2025 at Drew’s Place of Coldwater.
A service will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Dutcher Funeral Home of Coldwater with Pastor Scott Marsh officiating.
A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery Old Section (north side of US-12).
Elizabeth was born April 6, 1930 to Thomas and Annie (Taylor) Smith in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She married Howard J. Little in 1948, and they were happily married for 58 years. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2006.
Elizabeth moved and worked in many different cities, and “always tried to bloom where she was planted.” When she moved to Coldwater, she worked at the Branch Areas Careers Center (Branch ISD), and the Burnside Senior Center.
She volunteered at the Community Health Center of Branch County for many years and as an active member of the United Methodist Church, would also volunteer her time to the church. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, baking and crocheting. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Elizabeth is survived by her children Nancy (John) Webster of Frederick, MI, Barbara (Ronald) Fee of Coldwater, Leslee (Roger) Fee of Coldwater; her grandchildren Angela (Jeff) Welch, John Webster, Shannan (Ross) Saltz, Matt (Sarah) Fee, Jenny (Michael) Schroeder; her great grandchildren Tanner, Jacob, Alyson, Alivia, Aliyah, Garrett, Brenyn, Ryleigh, Tatum, and Blake; her great-great grandchildren Avery, Benjamin, Alex, Conway, Beckham; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her siblings William Smith, Mary Despond, Pat Reid; and great granddaughter Courtney.
Memorials may be directed to Oaklawn Hospice or American Heart Association.
