Mark was born in Vicksburg, Michigan to Willard and Elizabeth (Kiewiet) Mohney November 15, 1961 as the youngest of eleven siblings.

This was instrumental in meeting the love of his life, Janie Marie (Martin) Mohney. They first met at the ages of 13 and 14 on the school bus, but that guitar was what really sealed the deal, and they were wed May 23, 1981. Together they raised three Daughters, Missie, Megan and Sarah.
Mark worked various jobs as a young man raised in a farming community and settled on agricultural sales. He spent many years as a salesman for Bates Tractor and Equipment, Coldwater and also for Purdy Tractor, Hillsdale, and most recently Beaver Machine in Coleman, Wisconsin.
He was friendly and outgoing and a favorite among his customers who he valued a great deal, and many he treated like family.
Mark was also an officer for the Coldwater Fraternal Order of Eagles Post 1907 Aerie for several years and enjoyed organizing and assisting with fundraisers and charity events. Mark loved his wife and family more than anything.
