Sybil Marie Palmer, 77, of Coldwater passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at home under hospice care.
In keeping with Sybil wishes, she will be cremated and no public services will be held.
The family is being served by Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City.
Sybil was born April 8, 1948 to Edward and Juanita (Higgs) Harmon in Clarkton, Missouri. Sybil married Charlie Palmer in 2003. He preceded her in death on March 12, 2014.
She ran the Pioneer Bar in Union City for many years. Sybil was also involved with the VFW in Athens and the Eagles in Battle Creek. In her free time, she had a passion for fishing, bingo, quilting, going up north, and enjoying life on the lake.
Sybil is survived by her stepdaughter, Marsha Woods; her siblings, Shirley Cable, Edward “Sonny” Harmon, and Linda Motter; her half-brother, Jim Barr; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Charlie, Sybil was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother Bill Harmon.
